Bread

We have been busy researching and baking bread!

Here is an awesome recipe that we used - some groups also adapted this recipe by adding their own ingredients such as cinnamon, 5 spices, choc chips or multigrain.

Ms Kirk works with the Junior and Middle School here at Clive School every Wednesday.

Football skills

Each Wednesday we have an expert football player that comes in and teaches us football skills.

We have been learning how to control the ball, do toe taps, turns, happy feet and use these skills in games.

Netball (optional activities outside of School time)

It is wonderful to see so many Year 3 & 4 student participating in sports outside of the school.  Miss Northe had the pleasure of watching the Year 4 team play on Tuesday afternoon.  They played fair and had a great win! 

Soup

In the Reading Hive we have been learning about different types of food.  We research, read poems & stories, and brainstorm descriptive language. 

We read the poem below.

Miss Northe bought in 3 different soups for us to try (if we wanted to take the risk - no double dipping, a new spoon each time). 
- Chicken Noodle
- Tomato
- Vegetable

The Chicken Noodle soup was our favourite!  We thought it reminded us of chicken flavored chips and two minute noodles, and KFC fries.
